Custom WooCommerce Development & Automation
Custom plugins and automations built for your WooCommerce store — no per-task SaaS fees, no plugin sprawl.
Scoped and quoted per project. Fixed quote before any work starts. No hourly billing.
The three AI-visibility packages fix what is standard: product schema, merchant feeds, crawler access, answer-ready content. They stop where your store stops being standard — a supplier who sends stock as a nightly CSV, a checkout that has to validate a VAT number before it takes payment, an accountant who wants every invoice in the ledger by morning. That work needs code, and this is where we do it.
We write plugins that live inside your WordPress install. They run on your hosting, log to your database, and keep working whether or not a subscription is paid. Everything is built against WooCommerce’s own APIs rather than edits to core or your theme, declares HPOS compatibility, and is handed over with the source and a short operating guide. There is no licence key to renew and no per-task fee as your order volume grows.
The same build also tends to improve what AI assistants can read: clean, structured, current product data is what an integration produces as a by-product. Where it makes sense we expose it deliberately — JSON-LD, feeds, and where you want it, an Abilities API or MCP endpoint an agent can call.
What we build
The ten things stores ask us for most often. If yours is not on the list, describe it — most builds turn out to be a variation of one of these.
-
AI agent integration
Give an assistant a defined list of things it may do on your store — with permissions and a log.
-
Agentic commerce readiness
Make price, stock and product identity correct enough for an agent to act on, not just read.
-
Webhook integrations
Events that reach the other system exactly once, with retries and a delivery log.
-
Inventory sync
Supplier and marketplace stock and prices, mapped and updated on a schedule you control.
-
Checkout logic & HPOS
Checkout rules that hold, and a migration to High-Performance Order Storage that does not lose orders.
-
Personalisation & dynamic pricing
Customer-group and volume pricing, and recommendations, that stay consistent everywhere.
-
Subscriptions & billing
Renewals, dunning, pauses and proration that behave the way your plans actually work.
-
Support automation
Answers grounded in live order data, with a hand-off to a human and a log of every reply.
-
Invoicing & accounting sync
Invoices, credit notes and payouts in your ledger, with VAT that survives an audit.
-
Workflow automation
Move per-task automations into a plugin you own, running on your own hosting.
How a build works
Four steps, and you can stop after the second one without owing anything.
Scoped and quoted per project. Fixed quote before any work starts. No hourly billing.
- 1
Discovery call
Thirty minutes on what happens today, who touches it and where it breaks. We look at the store, the plugins already installed and the systems it has to talk to. Free, and it sometimes ends with us saying the build is not worth doing.
- 2
Fixed quote
A written scope: what the plugin does, what it deliberately does not do, what we need from you, and one price. Nothing starts until you accept it, and the price does not move unless you change the scope.
- 3
Build and test on staging
We build against a copy of your store with your real data volumes, so the first time the code meets your catalogue is not the first time it runs in production. You get a staging link and can try it before it goes anywhere near live orders.
- 4
Deploy and 30-day bug-fix warranty
We deploy, hand over the source and the operating guide, and fix anything that turns out to be broken for 30 days at no charge. After that you can maintain it yourself, hand it to another developer, or keep us on the Care Plan.
Who this is for
-
Stores where a person is the integration
Someone re-types orders into an accounting tool, updates stock from a supplier spreadsheet, or copies tracking numbers by hand every morning. That job has a shape, and a shape can be written down as code.
-
Stores paying per task for something they could own
Hosted automation tools bill per run. A self-hosted plugin doing the same job costs nothing per order, does not stop when a card expires, and does not send your customer data through a third party to get there.
-
Stores whose audit found something no setting fixes
Some audit findings are configuration. Others are a missing field in the data model, a feed export that drops variants, or a template that cannot render what the schema needs. Those are code, and we quote them separately rather than pretending the Setup package covers them.
-
Stores getting ready for AI agents
Assistants already read structured product data. Some are starting to call APIs. Exposing your own data cleanly, with permissions and a log, is a build — not a plugin setting.
FAQ
Straight answers to the questions store owners ask
What does a build cost?
Scoped and quoted per project. Fixed quote before any work starts. No hourly billing. The discovery call is free and ends with either a scope we both recognise or an honest “this is not worth building”.
Do I own the code?
Yes. You get the source — in your repository or as a plugin ZIP — with no licence key, no phone-home and no obligation to keep working with us. If you hire a different developer next year, they can read it, because it is ordinary WordPress code with comments in it.
Will this slow my store down?
Long jobs run in the background through Action Scheduler, not on page load, and anything touching the catalogue is batched. We test against your real catalogue size, because an integration that is fine with 200 products can be a problem at 20,000.
Do you work on stores you did not build?
Most of them. We read what is already there before proposing anything, and we would rather configure a plugin you already have than add another one. Plugin sprawl is a real cost — every extra plugin is another update that can break checkout.
What is HPOS, and why does it keep coming up?
High-Performance Order Storage is WooCommerce’s dedicated order tables, the default for new stores since WooCommerce 8.2. Code written against the old post-based storage can silently read stale orders once a store switches. Everything we write declares HPOS compatibility and is tested with it enabled.
Do you replace Zapier and Make?
Often, yes — when the workflow runs between systems you already pay for and the per-task bill has started to matter. We will say so when a hosted tool is genuinely the cheaper answer: a two-step automation that runs twice a month is not worth a plugin.
Can you take over something another developer wrote?
We will read it and tell you honestly whether it is worth continuing or cheaper to replace. Both answers happen. Either way you get the reasoning in writing before you decide.
Is this WooCommerce only?
Yes. WordPress and WooCommerce are what we know deeply — the data model, the hooks, and the places where plugins quietly break each other. We do not take Shopify, Magento or custom-stack work.
